Animals have existed from very early times on the earth. From the early ages of the dinosaurs till today animals have moved over the face of the earth and have undergone several transformations. Animals play an important role in maintaining a balance in the ecology of the environment. Thus it is very important to preserve animals for the sustenance and well being of human life. Animals are a gift of creation and shooting animals for trade, money or any other reason will create a lack of environmental balance in our lives.

Thanks to science and technology today, you can think of shooting animals with a camera instead of a gun. If you are fond of animals you can keep shooting at them with a camera. This will not only help you to get some great pictures but will also preserve the environment as well. Animals are important in our daily lives as they are an important source of food and clothing. They also help in farming. Animals are a part of the food chain, which is very important in preserving ecological balance. If animals are killed by shooting at them with a gun for purposes of sport, trade or earning money, the food chain will get disturbed and the whole ecosystem will become unstable and collapse.

Apart from preserving the ecological balance, animals can be domesticated and help us in many ways. Some animals such as the horse and camel help us to travel and also in transportation, some such as donkeys are beasts of burden, while others such as the cattle and sheep etc. are sources of different food products. The wild animals are also as important as domestic animals and have their role to play in maintaining the ecological balance and a speck of natural beauty. Many animal lovers have realized how important animal life is and are taking all measures to preserve wild life. The governments of several states have built wild life sanctuaries where animals can live freely and in safety. Several species of animals have become extinct, while some are on the verge becoming extinct on account of the impact of the gun on wildlife.

Thus it is very important that we use our cameras to shoot animals and get some excellent pictures to show the beauty of wildlife to the whole world. Indiscriminate shooting of animals with a gun should be stopped immediately and law breakers should be severely punished. But, shooting animals with a camera will help the world see and understand the beauty of animal life. This will in turn curb shooting of animals with a gun. So, do not use a gun for shooting animals. Instead use a camera to save the animal life from extinction, which in turn will save human life as well as the environment.
