Getting started
It is always advisable to take training for
scuba driving. Proper training from professional

training in scuba diving you need to join the
Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)
certification process. Children above thirteen
years old can do PADI course. In the PADI
classes you will be taught how to properly weigh
yourself in salt and fresh water, buddy
breathing when you or your partner runs out of
oxygen, controlled swimming ascents, etc.
Children between 10 and 12 years can join the
traditional class at a local diving center. Once
you are certified you can enjoy scuba diving
anywhere in the world.

The important equipments required for pursuing
scuba diving as a hobby are mask, snorkel, fins,
dry or wet suit, oxygen cylinder/tank, buoyancy
control device, compass, submersible pressure
gauge, gloves, dive computer/watch, alternate
air source, regulator and submersible pressure
gauge.

The benefits of scuba diving are manifold. This
hobby will correct your breathing technique. It
will also improve your co-ordination,
concentration and balance. When our body is
totally underwater, the water pressure acts
against every moving muscle of our body. Moving
