ENGLISH ESSAY CLASS 4

I was walking back home from school when suddenly it started raining. I looked up and saw black clouds in the sky. My mother told me these clouds bring heavy rain. I was not prepared for it. I started walking faster. I did not have a raincoat. I do not like to get wet. I did not want my books to get wet either. I ran and stood under the portico of a house. A stray puppy followed me. We both stood there with the others. Suddenly the rain stopped. I walked briskly to reach home soon. The puppy ran after me too. When I reached home the puppy would not leave me. So I gave him some biscuits and then he went away. Now everyday when I return home the puppy follows me and I give him something to eat and he goes away.
