ENGLISH ESSAY CLASS 4
My School
The name of my
school is Arked Academy (write the name of
your own school). It is situated in Ananda
Road, Kolkata. It is not far from my house. I go
to school sometimes by bus and sometimes I walk.
I read in class 4. My school is a five-storey
building. The primary classes are on the ground
floor. The principal's room and school office
are also on the ground floor. At every floor
there are classrooms. Altogether there are
thirty classrooms and all are pretty big. In
each classroom there are about fifty to sixty
students. The classrooms have many windows so
the rooms are very airy. The students feel very
comfortable. There are two large toilets with
enough cubicles on each floor. Even water
filters are kept at every floor.
Our school has a library and a laboratory. We
have a large play ground, swimming pool and a
basket ball court. The teachers in our school
are very qualified. All the teachers are very
good and love the students very much. The
students also respect the teachers. Some
teachers give extra classes to the weak students
after the school gets over. Our principal looks
after all the problems of the school. We have
many cultural programmes too. I am proud to be a
student of this institution. I like to take part
in all the school activities. I enjoy going to
school every day. I love my school very much.
